Kodak is a photo album that explores love, resilience, and the cultural contrasts shaped by war and migration. Influenced by Martha Rosler, I juxtapose my parents’ old film photos with stark modern Australian interiors, highlighting the warmth of Vietnamese traditions against Western spaces. Using collage, I weave together moments from the Vietnam War, my parents’ journey, and their life in Australia, illustrating how home is not defined by place but by the people and memories that endure across borders.
